What this page checks

Three health checks: whether the API is answering, whether it can reach the database, and whether everything it depends on is healthy.

  1. Liveness

    GET /api/v1/health

The API process is up and answering. It never touches a dependency, so it stays green even while the database is slow. That is what the next two are for.

  2. Database

    GET /api/v1/health/db

Runs SELECT 1 against PostgreSQL with a three-second timeout. If this fails, orders cannot be written.

  3. Readiness

    GET /api/v1/health/ready

Healthy only when nothing that is configured is down. Load balancers route traffic by this one.

Why there is no uptime chart

We do not yet run an external monitor that records history, so we will not draw a row of green bars or quote a percentage. When incident history exists, it will be recorded by something other than the thing being measured, and it will be here.

If something is wrong for you and this page is green, tell us. That is exactly the gap this page cannot see.
